Your Role
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities by using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with new and existing partners.
- Generate new business opportunities by exceeding the qualifying lead opportunities and setting appointments
- Actively engaging with inbound leads and outbound prospecting to segment your prospect lists
- Establish and own a trusted/strategic advisor level long term relationship with your partners and work with them as if you’re a direct member of their team
- Work with your partners to establish business-level goals and initiatives, along with the associated key performance indicators (KPIs), and aid the partners in achieving their specific goals
- Manage the partners and manage the flow of work through the internal teams to ensure that we maximize our time and effort and our partners investment
- Constantly educate partners and present relevant, new and innovative ideas to keep them excited
- Be able to solve problems on the fly, speak fluently about our scope of work, and address most questions about our typical digital marketing channel (SEO, PPC, Social Media Advertising, Email marketing, CRO, website,etc)
- Retain and grow the scope of your partners accounts by upwards of 10-20%+ per year
- Manage profitability for partners to ensure that we are efficiently using resources
- Identify and execute on opportunities to capture customer testimonials and referrals
Ideally You Will Have
- At least 2-3 year of full-time corporate sales experience or graduate from a marketing or business management course with digital marketing experience
- Preferably able to converse in, English, Malay and Mandarin
- Proven experience developing and leading campaigns and partners projects in digital marketing, including PPC,SEO, Database marketing, Display media, Analytics, Paid social, etc.
- Excellent project management skills, passion about selling digital marketing solutions, enjoy meeting and presenting digital strategy.
- Versatile and flexible, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong customer leadership and persuasion skills
- Track record of success developing and nurturing customer relationships
- Ability to apply marketing insights and ideas to partners objectives
- Fluency in Google Analytics, Google ads, Facebook ads, Keyword research tools, reporting tools, and a range of popular digital marketing tools
- A great attitude, a willingness to learn and master new skills and commitment to excellence
- Even better if you have agency experience or strategic consulting in business development leadership role for partners growth (hungry for success)
